Accessibility
Accessibility statement.
We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device, settings or assistive technology they rely on.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with visible focus and a “skip to content” link.
- Text meets WCAG AA contrast, and the site works when zoomed to 200%.
- Motion is subtle, and switched off entirely if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Headings, landmarks, form labels and error messages are announced correctly by screen readers.
- Forms check your answers when you leave a field, explain any problem in plain words, and keep what you typed.
- Pages are mostly light and fast, so they work on slow connections.
How we test
Every page is checked with automated WCAG 2.2 AA tests (axe-core and Lighthouse) at desktop and phone sizes, and manually with a keyboard. Automated tests cannot find every problem, so we also welcome your reports.
Known limitations
- Photographs are decorative and have no text alternative by design; all information is in the text.
- An Arabic version is in preparation; most pages are currently in English only.
Tell us about a problem
If something does not work for you, email [Email address] with the page and what happened. We will reply within five working days.
